The Parents' Council met for the first time this school year. There were many new members and the new head teachers, Ms. Ugrenovic and Ms. Ader, were also introduced. The working groups presented their projects and several important topics were discussed.
- Traffic situation in the district: The police officer in charge and the person responsible for pedestrian and bicycle traffic in the city of Zurich assessed the situation on site. Bullingerstrasse and Sihlfeldstrasse are being redesigned, including new floor markings and a planned bicycle zone. After the meeting, posters were put up to remind people that pedestrians have priority. The inconsiderate behavior of cyclists towards pedestrians and school children was particularly addressed. It was suggested that regular campaigns be carried out with the school police officer to improve traffic safety.
- Visiting morning: Visiting morning will take place on Wednesday, October 30th. On this day, you can visit your children flexibly in all lessons from 8:15 a.m. to 11:55 a.m. During the long break at 9:55 a.m., there will be coffee and cake in the basement of the school building.
- Communication: Parents were reminded of the upcoming school visit day and Q-days.
- Storytelling night: Preparations for the storytelling night were discussed. Some parents will be helping out this year as readers or at the punch bar. Both young and old are looking forward to it!
